Anders Kreuger

A curator, writer and educator.

Anders Kreuger (Sweden, 1965) is a curator, writer and educator. Since 2019 he is Director of Kohta, a privately initiated kunsthalle in Helsinki. In 2010–18 he was Senior Curator at M HKA, the Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp. Before that, in 2007–10 he was Director of the Malmö Academy, University of Lund, Curator at Lunds konsthall (both in Sweden) and Member of the Programme Team for the European Kunsthalle in Cologne. In 1995–99 he was Director of NIFCA, the Nordic Institute for Contemporary Art, in Helsinki. Throughout the years Kreuger has curated several larger exhibitions for Lithuanian institutions. Two of those are currently on display: ‘The Meeting That Never Was’ at MO Museum (co-curated with Charles Esche and Gabrielė Radzevičiūtė) and ‘Darius Žiūra: Portraits‘ at the National Gallery of Art.
